Lennar Corp. (NYSE: LEN) has a 40.2-acre agricultural site in the Goulds neighborhood of southern Miami-Dade County under contract. Dunagan’s Fruit Groves LLC could sell its property on the west side of Southwest 157th Avenue, just south of Southwest 272nd Street, to the homebuilder.
The developer wants to rezone the property from “agricultural” to “estate modified district” in order to build 185 single-family homes. That would include nine units of workforce housing
The homes would range from 1,827 square feet with four bedrooms to 3,468 square feet with five bedrooms.
